In 2001 I made my first trip to Walt Disney World (WDW) and had the time of my life. Supposedly, because I was still in my mother’s stomach and the rest is history. Some mothers play music for their children, but I absorbed the smells of the main street, immersive background noises, and the many ride soundtracks… at least the ones pregnant women could go on.
Here we are, 20 years later, and I am starting a Disney blog (that’s what the kids are calling it these days), departing to Orlando in less than two months and ever so slightly feeling like my life is somewhat together for once.
Disney has always been ingrained in my life; sometimes, I feel like going to the parks this much without living in Florida is a bad thing. However, it’s not the rides or lands that I have built an affinity for; it’s the clothing created for moments: I think that makes sense, okay in terms you will understand, the vintage clothing from the parks over the decades.
And to recite something you may recognize:
“There’s a great big beautiful tomorrow Shining at the end of every day. There’s a great big beautiful blog, And the blog is just a subscribe away.”
If this sounds exciting, tell your fellow disney loving friends!
